IPM PFC Inverter Simulator
A PFC boost and three-phase motor drive inverter system is implemented to simulate the power loss and junction temperature of each power device inside the IPM at given static load conditions.
The simulation settings include AC input voltage and frequency, PFC PWM frequency, DC bus voltage, inverter modulation scheme and PWM frequency, output system frequency, voltage and current, power factor and thermal parameters. Results are shown in summary tables as well as time dependent waveforms. Additionally, the designers can compare the effect of parameter variations or the operation of different parts directly.
