IPM PFC Boost Simulator
A PFC boost converter system is implemented to simulate the power loss and junction temperature of the PFC switch and diode inside the IPM at the given static load conditions.
The simulation settings include, input AC voltage, current, and frequency, PWM frequency, DC output voltage, and thermal parameters. Results are shown in summary tables as well as time dependent waveforms. Additionally, the designers can compare the effect of parameter variations or the operation of different parts directly.

- Select Part(s) by clicking the checkboxes
- Select ‘Get Result’ at bottom of list to view simulation results
- Select ‘Hold result’ to keep trace and compare to new simulation results.
